Burness Paull offers four-week long, paid summer vacation scheme positions. 

These take place between June and August, based in one of our three offices. Please note, you can only apply to one office. The office you apply to should be the office you wish to complete your traineeship in as you could be offered a traineeship if you perform well during your vacation scheme.

Summer placements are suitable for 3rd year LLB students and above or 1st year accelerated LLB and above.

During your vacation scheme you’ll work within two key practice areas, across either Corporate, Dispute Resolution or Property & Infrastructure. You’ll also be involved in training sessions with our Knowledge and Development Lawyers, which will give you an insight into all of our practice areas.

You’ll enjoy a variety of experiences, building your knowledge of the law, the business world and life at the firm. And you’ll be hands-on from day one, making it a great platform from which to develop your career.

You will be assigned a mentor within your department for day to day advice, and have the continuing support of the Graduate Recruitment team.
